CSA Z462Course Contents:The Electrical Safety Training System (ESTS) is comprised of ten (10) Modules and each Module has a varying number of independant lessons:
Each Module includes a Knowledge Check that utilizes interactive elements that engage the student in the learning process. Reference tables, forms, definitions, acronymns, and graphics are provided in the Electrical Safety Training System (ESTS) that are used in the course content and provided in a Resource Toolbox after the student successfully completes the course for additional review. The Final Assessment utilizes questions and three scenarios where the student interacts with the Virtual Electrical Classroom (VEW). The Electrical Safety Training System (ESTS) is cost effective, easy to access and user friendly. All workers can receive training. The Electrical Safety Training System (ESTS) should be used in conjunction with an Electrical Safety Program (e.g. Occupational Health & Safety Management System that can be based on CAN/CSA Z1000 for Canada or ANSI/AIHA Z10 for the United States). *These preventive and protective control measures and the hiearchy they are listed in are recommended by Occupational Health & Safety Management System Standards like CAN/CSA Z1000, ANSI/AIHA Z10, ILO-OSH 2001, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 14001.
